Program Purpose

Administrative supplements to currently active NIH research grants to support individuals with high potential to re-enter an active research career after a qualifying interruption for family or other responsibilities.

U.S. citizen or permanent resident, with a research or health professional doctoral degree, with at least one year but no more than eight years of research career interruption.
